DD2 has got a lump om her head - she's only 12 days old. Should I be worried or is this newborn head stuff (i.e. mishapen aftre birth and should iron out)?

what kind of lump and where?

SenoraPartridgeinaPearTree · 25/12/2005 17:34

and has she been poorly?

It's just a lump - not v. hard, not squishy either. It's about the size of a 5p piece.

She's not been unwell.

Get the HV to check it out - it's probably nothing but it wouldn't hurt to have it looked at.

Yes i suppose I should - though might go to GP insted as HV here is rubbish rubbish rubbish.

Do - though if its at base of skull (at the back) its probably a swollen gland. DD had one in the first few weeks, like a little pea. Hope you can get an apt. soon!
