re-opened perineum tear

It was closed basically a week ago (finally)
Had a very difficult poo with a lot of pain and saw blood.
Have had a look and see my tear has re-opened.

Haul myself to the GP with the kids in tow (because I've got no one else to have them)
or
see how it goes? I still have steroid cream they gave me to help seal it up...but I know one shouldn't use it for long...

Ouch! That sounds painful. Can you have a telephone consultation with your GP to see if it's ok to continue to use the cream?

They're closed this aft (was thinking of open surgery hours tomorrow morning as being my choice) Maybe if I call them in the morning and ask for a call back when they have a moment it would be easier...tho it might not be until late afternoon that I hear anything.

Take the kids and get it checked, you want to avoid any long term issues! I feel your pain, had a 3rd / 4th degree tear and they cut through the muscle! Are you on laxatives to avoid a painful poo again?
