Pelvic floor toners.....leaked during sex (sorry tmi)

I've had 2 children, my baby is 6 months old. I am pretty bad at doing my pelvic floor exercises although I did start off with good intentions but with so much else going on I forgot about them.

I have a cold at the moment at when I cough or sneeze I have the odd leak but me & DH were having sex last night and I leaked when he was on top, this was when I was coming to orgasm and he thought it was because of that and not urine. I was too embarassed to say anything to him. It has happened a couple of times before if I've had a few drinks but he hadn't noticed or else not said to me. Last night I hadn't had any alcohol so can't blame it on that. I really need to do something about it and I was looking at buying a pelvic toner. I don't want to spend loads but I saw this and it looks like it has good reviews

Anyone else used this or can recommend something else???

Thanks

Sorry you are leaking Sad. If I were you I'd ask for a referral to a specialist gynae physio for a proper pelvic floor assessment. You might just need instruction about how to do pelvic floor exercises correctly on your own. But you may also benefit from a machine to stimulate the muscles. Personally I wouldn't just buy one, I'd get a recommendation from a physio and instruction on how to use it - there are lots of different programmes for different types of weakness. I've been using NeuroTrac Continence and have gone from 0 out of 5 for strength to 2 out of 5. This is a major improvement for me - the machine really does work! I'm unlikely to get any stronger because I have bad prolapse and a detatched pelvic floor and need surgery. But someone without these problems should do really well with the machine. But, as I say - don't just buy it. You need advice and instruction - you can really hurt yourself if you use it incorrectly! Good luck! X

Hi cardamomginger
I've just for a neurotrac too, to try to find and strengthen my PF. Which program do you use, and how do you know when to turn it up?
Thanks

I was going to say it might have been ejaculate, rather than urine, too.
