Just wondered how old babies are when this is not seen as a cause of death?

(yes worrying again)

I may be out of date, but I did a dissertation on cot death at uni, and at that time (long long ago) it was defined as under the age of 1, but the peak time is 3 months and anything after 6 months would be very unusual. More info here . Hope you haven't got anything concrete to worry about?

Not at all. I just love him to bits and "like" to worry myself unnecessarily. Do you know what I mean?

Ahhh - bless you - that is so lovely - I have irrational thoughts like this - I sometimes think that my two are too good to be true (not always I might add) and that something is bound to happen to them. I can get really worked up about it. i think it is normal motherly instinct to protect your young.

thats exactly it H - the idea that it cant all go this well..
