OP posts:
thecattleareALOHing · 23/12/2005 09:40

Piriton should help a lot. So sorry. What a pain to happen now.
Have you had it? You could visit Peter if so.

FairyTaleinNewYork · 23/12/2005 09:57

i have, but other kdis havent. dd3 is still breastfed so will need someone to watch her in the canteen, not willing to risk it, too many people on immunosuppresants there.

OP posts:
thecattleareALOHing · 23/12/2005 10:05

Could you leave dd with someone while you visit Peter?

feastofsteven · 23/12/2005 10:06

oh no

FairyTaleinNewYork · 23/12/2005 10:12

i could, but they'd have to come with me. can i carry it without having it?

OP posts:
puffoeufnog · 23/12/2005 10:13

oh bummer

LIZS · 23/12/2005 10:16

oh no - that is so frustrating for you. . Would you still be able to visit ?

Tepid baths in bicarb of soda might help dry the spots up.

FairyTaleinNewYork · 23/12/2005 10:16

lol, the nurses are giving advice over the phone 'get the lotion which is oil based' bless them.

OP posts:
LIZS · 23/12/2005 10:18

If you've had it you can't carry it as such but it is possible to get it more than once. Can you speak to your gp as top what precautions they'd suggest, perhaps they could check your immunity status.

FairyTaleinNewYork · 23/12/2005 10:24

i have spots on my back, cant see them properly tho.
