I did'nt see it happen and there is no bump, have called NHS who said to just keep an eye on him, just seems strange that he was sick and very sleepy within a couple of hours of it happening. I kept him awake for a further 3 hours and he is now in bed fast asleep, am hoping he just has a bug and that the bang on the head was just coinsedence.

Surely if the bang on the head was bad enough to cause the voniting and tiredness he would have a bump???

He has only been sick once but said his head was still hurting when he went to bed.

agree .. definately the right thing .. good luck .. best to get this checked out properly

snowfalls · 22/12/2005 23:03

He is fine, paramediic gave him a good check over (though ds was'nt very co-operative) just need to keep an eye on him and have him seen again if he develops a severe headacke or vomits again.

That must be a huge relief. You were quite right to get him checked out. Fingers crossed for a vomit-free night.

PrincessPlumPuddingHead · 22/12/2005 23:12

might be worth waking him and taking him to the loo once or twice in the night just to check he is OK. poor thing!

snowfalls · 22/12/2005 23:24

He's downstairs with me at the moment, huddled up on the sofa with a blanket.............he seems wide awake now the little tike

Hope he's OK, snowfalls - I would set your alarm clock to wake you so you can check on him during the night. I did that when ds1 was very poorly - reset it every 2 hours (I would have slept through otherwise). Best of luck.

snowfalls · 22/12/2005 23:29

Yes I think I will use an alarm, dh gonna love that

My dh contrived to sleep through it, iirc (he did start the sentence that began "aren't you being a bit OTT..." but a demonic glare from me shut him up...)

Snowfalls, how is your ds this morning?

snowfalls · 23/12/2005 19:19

He has been vomiting all day today along with the runs, obviously a bug, just hope he is better by x/mas day.
