Just had my results of a bone scan and chest Xray this afternoon which were both CLEAR.After being diagnosed with Breast cancer Feb 2004 at 14 weeks pregnant this result today is really fantastic (especially for my Ds1 and Dd2). I am not totally in the clear but just a message to all similar gals out there in a similar position is that even with a really bad diagnosis there can still be light at the end of that tunnel.

Coribells, I didnt know you could have chemo whilst preg but what a way to find out. The Chemo drug was adapted slightly in content of the FEC drugs but the doctors followed a similar treatment to that recorded on a handful of women in America.Apparently in women under 12 weeks preg they generally terminate. In women diagnosed with Cancer at 24 weeks preg they bring the birth forward, but I had to be difficult being at 14wks.My darling daughter survived the initial mammogram, then the operation(morphine etc) and finally 6 sessions of chemo.Scanned every fortnight she is a true miracle.
