Mistletoo · 21/12/2005 16:17

really excellent new mb - gold stars all round

PruniStuffing · 21/12/2005 16:20

So glad to hear it (have now worked out who you are, have been wondering for ages!). It really is a relief, isn't it? DH is on 6m checkups and every time I am so grateful that his markers haven't reared their heads again.

Blandmum · 21/12/2005 16:24

crazy isn't it? They either are OK or they are not....The appointment doesn't suddenly make them ill , but I still manage to work myself up into a frenzy.

Dh's levels are slightly up....but that is only to be expected. His levels still havene'y 'doubled' in 2 years which is a good sign. But they will get worse over time. Eventualy he will need treatment, so I'm telling my dbil to keep nice and healthy! And treatments are getting better all the time etc etc.

But I'm bloody happy tonight!

Delighterd to hear this, I had to be checked every six months for 5 years and every year for a further 5, I felt totally fine in myself but worried my self into a right tis was waiting for results that I knew were 99.99999999999999% going to be fine.

Blandmum · 21/12/2005 17:01

We have gone trough this all before, dh had testicular cancer and had only just been given the 10 year all clear when they diagnosed the lukemia! Shoddy goods re health my dh!
