Being tested for ovarian cancer

Saw GP today and I've been fast tracked for a scan and bloods to be taken tomorrow for CA125 (?).

I'm only 28. DS1 is 3.11 and has ASD. DS2 is only 2.7.

I'm so scared

I also got the all clear today, my lovely consultant phoned me to say the pathology result on my cysts was a typical endometriod cyst.

Great news Ghoster! Really pleased for you, will they remove it or just keep an eye out?

They removed them two weeks ago today, there were two of them, and sent them for pathology. They had to remove them because they were twisting and I was passing out with the pain. I'm much better, now

You are right if by showing my age you mean age related dementia.

My friend went through something very similar. Lots of symptoms that pointed to it possibly being Ovarian Cancer. Pain, severe bloating that made her look 9 months pregnant.

She finally (after several op delays) had a 2lb mass removed. It was tested and was benign. All it well.
