my DD (14 mths) is teething badly (molars coming thru) and she had got a bright red runny nose (clear) and red cheeks to match.... but she is sneezing too... is she getting another cold or teething can make her sneeze?

I think some kids look like they've got a cold when they teethe.

She has probably got a cold that is coinciding with her teething.

Agree with jalopy - also, at this time of year, esp. with a first not-protected-by-Mum's-antibodies-anymore winter, runny noses and sneezles are fairly constant. At least, DD's were - it was hard to tell what was teething and what was sore throat, with the drooling, discomfort, and runny noses happening with both!

My DS was always getting colds and I blamed his teething then I blamed the fact that he was going to childcare, so we switched to Soy milk and have never looked back.
