Hi, I have just joined this site, so I don't know if I am doing this right!
In june this year I had the coil fitted, I've not had any check ups since and I have never been able to feel the strings on my coil, is this normal?

I can't remember the follow-up procedure, but you should be able to feel the strings yourself. They will be a very short (0.5-1cm) piece of what feels like thick nylon thread poking out from the cervix.

If in doubt, go back for a check.

I had a scan two weeks ago because my strings can't be felt/seen, the coil
Is thankfully still in place. Make an appointment for a coil check where you had it fitted.
