I have a posted a previous message on "afraid I have PND" and was interested to know how to score the Edinburgh test. As no were seems to explain that bit simply. I found an online test but the finish button didnt work. I know I am no expert but I would like to be more educated about it before seeing the doctor next week for my 6week check.

melsy, if you try here right at the bottom it will tell you how to score the test.

I scored 28

I hope you get some help soon, I've made an appointment with my GP to discuss medication etc for depression (DD2 is 3 weeks old today)...until you do get to talk to someone, and even after mumsnet is fantastic support.

I'll post this on your other thread too incase you don't see this one (just so you know why I'm posting everywhere!)

Thanks for that, its all clear now !!quite easy, seems strange to do something as easy as a Cosmopolitan quiz to detect something quite serious!! At least I have my humour .

I came out at 20 .I think being extremely sleep deprived has something to do with the high score.I hope that is all it is and that it will pass.

Let me know what your GP says, Im going on Thursday.

Be well

When dd was just over 6 months old I scored 14. I think that 12 is the point where they say you are borderline and anythig higher menas you need help.
