Many years ago i had what they thought might be an ulcer. Probably the best foods are cornflakes, Ready Brek, (no butter), milk, fish, yogurt, Custard, pasta, spagetti , bread, drinking yogurts. dont go too long without eating, as the stomach acids build up on any empty tum and make it worse. Snack on a dry biscuit/cracker, bread, toast, yogurts.
Dont drink any alcohol, or eat spicy foods like curry, chinese, Thai, Chilli, peppers, onions, acidic fruits, fruit juice, and raw vegetables etc that are hard and tough to digest. Not too much oil, and butter. Not strong coffee or tea. Weak with skimmed milk. etc.

Are you on medication? I took tablets for 2 weeks and it went.

They are usually caused my bacterial infection with h.pylori.

I have seen manuka honey indicated as beneficial but it needs to be 15+ UMF.

I didnt alter my diet at all, nor was I advised to.

Omeprazole 20mg.

Seems to be working so far- the crippling heartburn has subsided.

Thanks for your advice, nametapes and fluffy.
