quick advice needed please tmi sorry

I saw my doctor yesterday about my problems with constipation, blood and mucus (sorry), and she's referred me for endoscopy. But this morning what started as the usual gas and mucus has turned into something like colitis - straining and diarrhoea and cramps. Is it ok to take DP's loperamide which he has for IBS? Need to get kids to nursery for 9.

Too late now, but would the Loperamide work in that short space of time?

Thanks. It settled down without taking anything and now just sore under my ribs on the left, think just an unhappy colon. If it keeps up I'll call the doctor but i guess it could be coincidental at this stage.

I think I have IBS and I get a dreadful pain under my ribs if im having poppy probs Wink, I think you need to mention this to the Gp.
