Hi Mitchiest, I usually have a Cosmofer iron infusion and it takes 6 hours. The good thing is though that it lasts around a year. I just bring some magazines, a book and have a snooze! HTH.

Shock six!

think they said about four, snooze sounds like a sensible response though. Thanks :)

I know, crazy! If it's your first dose they usually do a tester run for 30 mins or so to make sure you don't react. It takes about 6 weeks to kick in properly but I definitely feel better after that time and my hair stops falling out, dizziness improves etcx

I have regular infusions, some taking 8 hours a time. I take books, music, even computers but then end up talking or sleeping.
Make sure you have something to occupy yourself.
