I am just so tired. Paracetomol doesn't touch it. I want ice cream but feel sick. I am just worn down.

Do you mean like a blindfold or are eye pads something else?

Well I went to bed early, had a nightmare so have woken up unsettled and still have pain above my eye. I have to do my volunteering today and then take the kids to my PIL after school and all I want to do is sleep.

I had one when I had just had my son - the only thing that is going to fix it is sleep. My mum came round to watch my son (as hubby was at work) and bought round this head cooling pad (can't remember what is was called) helped about as much as a tens machine works in labour - brilliant for the lesser pain, but pointless on the worst bit! Just lie down in the dark!

I've just come on here as I'm 19 weeks pregnant and have hope someone might have a cold remedy....but think I might receive just the same advice I gave back!! hehe!

Yes just eye pads to block out all light, it helps me, but we are all different. M&S make a good pair, in their travel accessories bit.

I am going for my eyes testing tomorrow so will look for an eye mask then. I took 2 paracetomol this afternoon and it did nothing.

Have you tried ibuprufen instead as it is anti-inflammatory?

TheOriginalFAB · 20/09/2011 20:37

I am sure I was told I couldn't take that as I have asthma.

Took ibruprofen this morning as another migraine was starting, it had helped when I took them last night and no issues with my asthma. I tookl the tablets about 2 hours ago and another migraine is starting now. I am having an eye test today to check for any issues with my eyes but daily migraines are miserable.Sad
