Broken toe, do I strap it up or leave it?

I presume it's either badly bruised or fractured. I kind of think it may not be worth taking time up at A&E, as I doubt they can do much. Should I strap it to my other toe as a make do splint or just leave it?

Yep, tape it between the toe joints (if that makes sense)

If you lose any feeling or it starts going purple - that isn't bruising - then take a trip to get it X-Rayed.

Thanks ed nurse. I've strapped it. It's purple but that's just bruising. Many thanks for responding. X
