I have a large bruise on my leg. I did something to it on saturday morning and the middle of it is only just coming up red today. DO i need to see someone or is it just a really bad bruise? Usually my bruises go blue/purple then the usual colour changes. Never had one go red before.

Does it feel like you have fluid under the skin? Maybe a hematoma, which is a blood clot, not the kind that goe to your heart and kill you, a different kind so don't panic. I had one on my shin after we put together Ikea wardrobes and a large door fell on my shin. Still have a smallish fluid lump, doc said it would take up to 6 months to go. It was more red and less cruise like when I originally did it!

no doesn't feel like there is fluid, its a bit swollen but nothing dramatic.
