Jessica is 16.5 months and has really bad gas today.... to the extent she is burping and being sick.

Is there anything at all I can get over-the-counter to settle her poor little tummy?!

Fennel tea is excellent, let her drink as much as she wants as often as she wants. The drops you get for babies who are still on milk only should help as well. I've gone totally blank and can't remember what they're called, but they smell of dill and I think come in a white bottle with a dropper top.

Yes, Infacol.

Probiotics are a good idea if she's prone to this.

It may be a mild tummy bug, so go easy on her food, especially the milk.

Probiotics are bacterial cultures that help promote the right balance of bacteria in the gut. Biolive yogurt is a good source of probiotics, but the powder or capsules you can get at healthfood shops is a more concentrated form. Solgar do ABCDophilus, which is specially formulated for babies ad children. It's a powder which you add to drinks or cold food.

Thanks for that. Will see if I can get some tomorrow. Just feel so bad for her at the moment. She is STILL awake and refusing to sleep even though she is usually out cold by 7pm.... gonna be a LONG night me thinks!
