Quick advice needed re scratch!

Just scratched my leg ona rusty washing line pole. It's superficial and really quite pathetic but it has broken the skin and bled. What's the stance on rusty metal scratches nowadays?

Ok this is based on no medical knowledge whatsoever not even googling but I think that if it's superficial it's not much of a risk.
