After being told my breast lump was nothing untoward...

Had lump, got it checked was told benign fybrocystic tissue, said we will send you for a non urgent mammogram, prob due to waiting list in Feb- June next year. next year, just routine check etc
Got letter this am from breast clinic
After reviewing notes from GP they have put me on fast track with mammogram next week.
Now am shitting myself.

Kat, you must be worried but as you say, it must be very early at the very worst. The pathologist obviously had a good look round in July, so nothing too awful can have happened in that time.

laalaa, you're doing wonderfully, I'm in awe. Any news on the herceptin front?

nothing that they want to biopsy, it came up transparent on the mammogram, and came up as tissue on the scan
They basically said I have large lumpy tits
Which was lovely dp nearly choked with laughing and now calls me LT
The lump is growing so they said at some point prob at the next 6 mthly check up they'll have a ee look see if it shows no signs of stopping
