Does anyone else suffer with migraines?? I am having my period and got a bad head earlier which I knew was the start of a migraine, so I had to sleep and take painkillers, because I knew that if I didn't I would be sick. Is there anyway to aviod them??

only ever had one full blown one, which I could identify the trigger for (Cream cake from cheap hight St Bakers). I think that avoiding caffeine, and computer screens might help a little.

DP swears by drinking a can of coke (or other caffeine filled substances). Total contradiction to FOS of course!

It apparently works by having the opposite effect on blood cells in the brain to that a migraine does (opening/closing, can't remember which one).

If he manages to get his hands on a can of coke as soon as soon as the visual part of the migraine starts up, it will only last about half an hour.
