Lump along jawline

Just noticed this afternoon a painless lump along my jawline under the skin. It appears to be a bit larger than a pea in size..reminds me of a swollen gland when I feel it. Does anyone have any idea what it might be or had one? Should I give it a few days to see if it goes down..and then get it checked out?

get these sometimes. It's just a cyst and should disappear on it's own. If it persists you could have an infection, the last one I had accompanied a horrible wisdom tooth infection. Antibiotics sorted it right out.

I get these all the time - totally harmless but really hard to stop fiddling with when you first notice it!
