Electronic Circulation Boosters - Anyone know if they work ??

My step mother suffers with really bad circulation and has really badly swollen ankles and legs (some heart problems - on water tablets etc.). My dad is considering buying one of these machines but on the basis they are £200+, he just wanted to know whether they work.

Any experiences welcome. Thanks

Does she elevate her legs regularly? She needs to have her legs raised as often as possible, whenever she is sitting or lying down, preferably above her heart. The fluid pools in the legs as the heart isn't as effective as it should be at pumping it around the body. So, you need gravity to help it along.
Rather than spending money on one of these, she should get some specialist advice on how to manage the swelling.
