7.5 yr old DD keeps getting spots - why?

My DD1 came back from her father's house at the end of August with a spot on her face - I assumed it was because she hadn't eatne particularly well whilst she was there (he and his girlfriend tend to give her lots of sweets) and also she always has late nights when with them.

This spot seemed to spread as she got a couple of others, and because she kept picking them (and thereby spreading them) they didn't really go completely until about a month ago. I kept threatening to take her to the GP but she wasn't ill in her herself so I wasn't overly concerned.

A couple of days ago she got 2 more on her cheek - I think I will take her to the GP later today but wondered if anyone knew what might be causing them? They are red and scab over pretty quickly.

I did wonder if she might be having an incredibly early puberty (I know it is possible) but she doesn't show any other signs.

Impetigo perhaps? Good idea to let the doctor take a look though.

Wondered about impetigo but thought that the spots were more crusty and weeping with that?
