Scissors -we've a small sharp pair and a hairdressing pair in the bathroom and they get used loads. Today for example:

cut tags off new clothes
trimmed DDs fringe
cut a plaster down to size for DS

Janh · 04/12/2005 19:57

Tweezers for splinters.

In theory we always have a pair of scissors in the bathroom but they go walkabout

Janh · 04/12/2005 20:03

Oh, the other day I bought a little bottle of "Master Plaster Antiseptic Spray, sterile, hygienic and easy to use" - about £1 from the local factory shop place - haven't needed to test it yet but it appears to be meant for gentle cleaning of scrapes etc without having to rub which sounds like a fine idea.

Eosine.

Red liquid that you can buy in France. It disinfects and dries at the same time, and is magic for chicken pox. dd2 recently had a burn on her finger, that didnt make a scab for 2 days. After I washed it with eosine, it scabbed immediately.
