In the past few years my DH has had an issue with twitching in his sleep.
I've stoically put up with it (usually a couple of glasses of wine helps me to ignore it) but it seems to be getting worse and more violent. I'm pregnant now so I can't even drink! He went to the GP who said there was nothing to be done about it.
My DH is very good and will go into the spare room if I ask him to, but lately it means he's pretty much in the spare room every night :(
We have a king-size bed so there's plenty of room but no matter how far over each of us goes, the shaking of the bed is still very violent. I also put pillows between us sometimes to try and block it which helps a bit. I don't think we can go on like this for much longer as I feel very sleep-deprived with the constant interruptions and nighttime bed-hopping, imagine what it'll be like when the baby is here!
He has a very physically tiring job so I think this might be part of it as it has only been happening since he has had this job. He often gets 'restless legs' whilst still awake. We get about 7 - 8 hours of sleep most nights if you don't count all the bed-hopping.
Any tips on what we can do? Herbal, lifestyle, or otherwise.
