Hello all, probably TMI but I woke up today and found that the right side of my labia was quite swollen and painful. There is a lump there and it is quite tender.I have not been sexually active for 4 years so can discount any kind of STI,I hope!Having googled (I know) I thinkit may be a bartholin cyst.Has anyone got any experience of this?Do I need to see my Gp or is there any kind of remedy I can do at home?TIAX

If it is a bartholins cyst then you may well need antibiotics. Is it directly underneath you more towards the back? If it gets a lot worse over the weekend I would ring the OOH GP but if it is not changing rapidly see them on Monday.
Could try warm baths or warm flannels on the area too

Hot bath. Hot pack. You could try making a poultice of turmeric. Or a drawing salve--ichthammol salve.
