Suncream for a newborn

I don't intend to expose by DS (10 weeks) to the sun but as we are going to get some really hot weather soon and ill be out and about with him i want to know if you can use suncream on his arms and legs just in case. As you know its easy to catch the sun even in the shade and would like if possible to use some as a precaution. Can anyone recommend some brands for babies this young? (or should i really not.....?)

Just get the suncream for babies from boots if you think his skin will be exposed, but by all means try and keep him out of direct sunlight altogether.

Both my summer babies were just kept covered. Long sleeves/legged things. It wasn't any hassle.

I'd imagine suncream is fine, but I found it easier to cover them, tbh.
