Preganacy and thrush

At 12 weeks pregnant I developed thrush and used a canesten combi pack but it didnt clear it up - am now 16 weeks and it has flared up again.

Was wondering whether its ok to use another pack or not as I know they tell you to be wary using it when pregnant - I got first pack with doctors consent but was just going to go buy another pack as its driving me mad!

Just wondered whether anyone else had had this problem and used more than one pack during a pregnancy.

thanks

Thrush is really common in pregnancy. I used to get skin thrush, and mouth thrush, but not vaginal, no idea why.

Whether or not you can use another pack (I don't know), are you taking steps to avoid getting it again? Here is a link about prevention etc.

Have had thrush on and off for years - I control it through diet - stear clear of yeast products, refined sugar, tomatoes - eat lots of fresh fruit and veg.
