I have just got out of bed, am totally exhausted - whats wrong with me?

I am constantly exhausted, so much so that i have only just crawled out of bed, not been asleep but just lying there trying to get enough energy to get moving.

Ive missed loads of college as am too tired to go in, the house is a state and on days when dh is at work i just about manage to feed the kids.

This has been months now, saw the doctor who did blood tests as she thought i may be anemic or have a thyroid problem. I am achey alot and have felt queasy and dizzy, also get hot and cold alot and generally feel totally crap. The blood tests came back fine, so she has referred me to the hospital.

I have no idea what it could be. Does anyone else have these symptoms and if so what was causing it and did it get sorted?

Also have lost alot of weight recently too - 3 stone, without dieting or anything and although i look better which is great, the doc is concerned over why i am losing it.

Hiya - did she tell you exactly what your bloods were tested for? Was it just for anaemia/thyroid/iron etc?

Have been talking about Coeliacs on another thread lately and wonder if that could be a possibility - did she mention it to you?

I think she said a full blood count - one of them was liver function i think

I told her i also got alot of stomach pains and she said that the hospital might want to look into it further.

Have a look here It lists all the symptoms my Mum and Uncle had - some of which sound pretty similar to yours. Might be way off but is another option
