headache and ears hurt/full

Any ideas what this could be? Have had a headache for a week and a half, started off being really bad sort of behind my ear, then eased off a bit but is now almost at the top of my head. My ears hurt a little but nothing bad, but they sort of feel full if that makes sense?

sounds like a blocked sinus or eustachian tube. TRy steam therapy, with menthol if you can bear it, and as often as you can handle it. The steam should help shift it pretty quickly

but I don't have a cold though... . I did have, but it went a few days ago

That makes even more sense then. You can have residual mucus trapped somewhere. If its dried out it gets very painful. Easiest way to tell is to lean forward. If the pain gets worse, its likely a blocked sinus
