Unless my BP miraculously drops in next fortnight, am going to be starting BP medication. Are they likely to play havoc massively with my erm waterworks?

No personal experience, but my Mum takes them. She's retired and stays at home first thing in the morning until she's been to the bathroom a couple of times, but then she's fine the rest of the day.

The first line treatment is normally an ACEi (angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor)
The most commonly prescribed is ramapril. This is not a diuretic an won't cause any major probs with ur water works.
Ask about ur cholesterol too x

thanks ladies. amelia - that sounds like other people's experience that I've spoken to, that it does have some impact on day to day life.

am already on statins for my cholesterol btw.
