Juts looking for advice really. Am a type 2 Diabetic, on a 24 hour insulin, and injections at mealtimes, with Metformin and Byetta. Have only been on the mealtime injections a short while, and my sugar levels have gone nuts. Have also have mega throat/ear infection (2 lots of anti-b's and it still hasnt gone). Also take levothyroxine as have under active thyroid.

I am just exhausted all the time!!!.. Got up at 10 yesterday, was asleep on sofa by 10.30 and slept on and off all day until about 3.30, My poor DD just played quietly, and woke me to say can she have a drink/sandwich etc (she is 9 btw).

Have been off work for nearly 4 weeks as i am so tired all the time. I get up, take dd to school, hubby to work some days, come back and by 10 i am asleep, waking when my alarm goes off at 2 to get sorted to go collect her from school.

Blood sugars are still a bit high, but not as bad as they were 4 weeks ago. Any ideas on anything else that may be causing this level of exhaustion?
