Something stuck (feeling) at the back of my throat/nose

I've just become more aware of it recently, but think its come (and gone??) over the past few months. I thought it was allergies, or post-nasal drip or something, but its now pretty constant and clearly on one side.

Feels almost like dried snot, or a scab, or something equally revolting at the top part of the back of my throat on the right. Can't see anything (slightly pitted tonsil, but no obvious white), and very hard to be sure exactly where the feeling is coming from.

Any ideas? GP?

Now I am not a DR, BUT my daughter suffered terribly with tonsiliths, which are rotted food caught in the crevices of the side of your throat, you swallow them or cough them up unknowingly.
They are creamy coloured, look like a nut and smell putrid!!! And indeed feel like something is caught there.
I got the odd one but not often so knew what she meant when she had a chat with me
Do a search for them, VERY common but most people have never heard of them, we eventually had her tonsils removed as she had terrible problems with them ( bad breath despite brushing/flossing daily x 3).
However I would strongly suggest you go see your Dr and ask to see ENT specialist and get their opinion.

Thanks - did google Blush and wondered about those, but nothing smelly or creamy as far as I can see/smell. I will go to the GP, thanks...and glad your dd got sorted out, sounds hard for a young one!
