thinking of an IUD, is it a really intrusive and embarrassing procedure? worse than having a smear?
can you feel it once it is in place and do you still have regular periods?

sorry lots of questions

I found it far lees horrid than having a smear, not intrusive as is fitted by a doc not a practice nurse that do smears.
I ver yoccasionally felt it when it was in place & I mean only once or twice in 18months.
Regular periods, hhhmmmm sometimes they can disappear completely, for me they just became minimal but regular.
I had to have mine removed bt not for any other reason than I had other problems that meant it had to ome out.

Hope this helps as they can be fab :)
