Moving period on Yaz

My first posting on mumsnet (eek!), I need help.
I am going on a divine holiday next week Wednesday, and my period is due to start on Friday next, slap bang in the middle of the holiday. Being on Yaz, I thought I could be clever and move my period earlier, so I stopped the active pill on Wednesday - thinking I would take the four placebos till Saturday, but now it's Friday and no period yet... am defo not pregnant, so why isnt this working?

so you haven't taken the full month of pills? Is that what you mean?

I know it doesn't help, but what you should have done was just run two packets together without the break in the middle.
