Prostap injection and HRT for PMS - any experience or advice?

I have terrible PMS caused by fluctuating hormone levels. It has been recommended by my Gynae that I should have a Prostap injection to stop my ovaries producing hormones and have HRT instead because this would provide a stable and consistent hormone level instead of the up and down pattern of hormones that I've got now.

I'm 43 and although I'm not having any more children, I'm a bit worried about whether I will have any side effects of the treatments.

Does anyone have any experience of this?
