having trouble getting antibiotics into a 24wk old with a heavy cold and an ear infection . am using a syringe but he just keeps spitting it out or throwing up. does anyone know if a medicine dispensing dummy works or does it just make them choke?

i've dreamfed since birth, not going to drop that feed til he's established on solids. i just pick him up, still in his growbag at about 10.30pm, feed and burp him, cuddle him upright for a bit to let milk settle, the he goes back down. sometimes he wakes again a short while later but its usually just wind. sounds so easy doesn't it!, however tonight he's sat on my knee, his colds so bad he can't settle, and he's hardly fed at all over the last few days, too much snot, yuk.
