home made dressing for savage oozing graze??

dd has a really horrible graze - more of a circular cut (to put it in her words). it's very oozy, which, the internet tells me, means it's trying to scab over. dressings stick to it - have spent probably an hour today trying to get one off. the best thing for it is probably to leave it open to the air - but the problem for over night is she may well end up with it stuck to her sheets. I have very little in my first aid box - just normal plasters. any ideas for a home-made type solution?
