PILL question

Wondered if anyone could shed some light for me?

I restarted taking my pill this month, after over a year of not taking it. In the past the pill has been great and I have had very regular AF, no problem - normally starting 2 or 3 days after stopping taking the last pill.

Whilst not on the pill my cycle has been from about 25-32 days long, but normally around 26-29 days.

Anyway, today is day 20. I have one more pill to go tomorrow. However, just nipped upstairs and it would apeear that AF has started. So that would a 20 day cycle and before I have finished taking this months pills.

Never had this happen before.

Why would this happen? Is it normal?

First day of last period, yes.

Thanks; hopefully it'll be nice and short and next month will be more normal.

No, I've definitely taken them all.

Well, as quick as it started it ended - all in one evening. No sign since last evening at all. Very odd!
