Do toddlers get car sick?

DS is 14 months and did a projectile vomit in the car today (after quite a lot of windy roads). I thought children didn't get car sick till older....? Not sure if he's maybe sickening for an illness....

Mine too.
DS did, DD doesn't

Very inconsistent.
Not always windy roads.

Piriton helps but is not a guarantee..

Hate theses folks that say it's all in the mind. How can a bairn invent car sickness?

dinny · 15/11/2005 18:27

ah, he's only been sick in dh's car (which the back seats are low bucket types) and not mine...wonder if that's why...

My DD was once -realised after it was probably because we stuffed her full of pasta and then put her straight in car for long journey. She puked literally 2 mins from our destination ( cheesey pasta...right into my hands which was all I could think of to catch it in...yuk).
On the bright side it was a one off so hopefully it will be a one off for your DS too Dinny.
