She's not recently had any vaccinations there has she?

bubblerock · 14/11/2005 20:35

Is it anywhere she'd have had an injection?

nutcracker · 14/11/2005 20:35

Has she had a jab in that leg in the past few mths ??

Ds had a lump caused by a jab and it lasted for about 3 mths.

No, i found the lump last week but thought maybe she had bumped her leg but its still there and feels slightly harder.

Blimey yeah, hadn't noticed.

SoupDragon · 14/11/2005 20:38

I dont think it matters if you're worrying about nothing - the point is you are worrying and can't immediately put this down to an injury or vaccination reaction.

yULeYSEES · 14/11/2005 20:39

has she had a sore toe or anything sore from the waist down? Could it be a lymph gland?

marne · 14/11/2005 20:40

Cant see any other sore areas, she has had a cold.

Is it red or bruised looking ? dd had something on her cheek that vaguely looked like she'd knocked it but was solid feeling under the skin and it didn't fade. Turned out to be erythema nodosum - fairly uncommon but think more often on lower legs. It was more obvious if she was hot or cold but went away of its own accord a few months later.

marne · 14/11/2005 20:45

Doesnt look red or brused and doesnt seem to bother her, its about the size of a small marble.

take her to the doc - for your peace of mind if nothing else.
