Clexane question

Hi, My consultant put me on 40 mg of heparin daily for the rest of my pregnancy but didn't say anything about me having to check INR or APPT.
I know you do this on warfarin, but was wondering if it needs to be monitored at all (its a preventative dose as I had previous DVT).

Um...I was on clexane during pregnancy (first 3 months to avoid miscarrying again), think it was a lower dose, but either way I have no idea what INR or APPT are, so no, I don't hink I had to check anything!
Hope someone else knows for sure, but I'd also think if you had to check anything your consultant would have told you.
Congrats on your pg, btw Smile

Me and sister were both on clexane when pregnant and didn't need extra test.

Thanks both, I did check and no I don't need INR tests. x
