Anyone else got this prob with downstairs?

I can't find any threads on the subject so im doing my own. Basically since having my baby 14 months ago, I can't do any other postion other than missionary during sex (sorry!). I've had a few check ups as I had loads of probs with episiotomy scar and they've all said that everything looks fine. It took ages (nearly a year) for my scar to stop hurting and I still can't do any other position because it stings too much at the other side! Don't know what else to do. Hope someone out there can give me some feedback on this....don't want to go to the docs again, and don't want my hubby to get bored! HELP!!!! x

Can't really help as only had sex once since baby born 6 months ago and was pissed at the time. And do have horrible big scar. Just wanted to respond. Surely he won't get bored though. He's lucky he's married to you and not me. I don't give a toss if he's bored or not! Lucky to get it at all I say.

It took a very talented midwife about an hour to stitch me up following "a tear!!!" having my daughter.That was 5 years ago and some positions are still" oh my god i cant possibly do that".So early days for you!Sorry to sound so negative

I found that after DS was born some positions were too painful at first, then it got until they were slightly painful initially but once we got going it was OK. Due to only tiniest of tears rather than full-on episiotomy with DD I didn't have the same problems. Think you should go back to the doctor though.
