Bit embarassed, but here we go...
Recently I have found that when using tampons I get a gushing sensation which usually means the tampon has leaked. My periods are very heavy so I always wear a sanitary towel as well... but when I went to change it, it's not blood it's wee???
It doesn't usually happen that I wee myself and has only happened the last few periods... what is going on? Or is it just that my pelvic floor is shot to peices after 3 kids and I need to start tightening it up?

It does sound Pelvic floor related.

I have found after my second baby a difference in my pelvic floor strength just before and during my period.

I can run for an hour without an issue 3 weeks of the month but just before and during my PG, I find the bouncing up and down a bit of a hazzard!

My mum says she has always been the same at the timeof the month since having us.

Don't know if muscles relax more at this time due to hormone changes (like PG) or if the extra water retention has anything to do with it but yes, id start squeezing until your eyes meet in the middle girly!
