4 year old with spots - any tips?

DD1 has come out in a few spots recently and she is only 4. I suffered with acne as a teenager, and I worried it might be genetic, but this is ridiculously early! She eats a generally good diet - fresh fruit and veg, no junk food, yes the occasional choc but nothing excessive.

I was wondering what others use the clean their children's faces with? Currently I just use water as I thought anything else would be too harsh at this age, but do you think I should be using a face wash? Any suggestions gratefully received.

DD (4) didn't have spots but embarrassingly she had a few tiny blackheads on her nose. i got them out and started using some baby soap to wash her face with instead of just water and that stopped this happening again.
