When/if you put your child on fish oils would you tell their teacher?

I have just started ds51/2 on Eye Q fish oils. I cant decide whether to tell his teacher to look out for any improvement in a few weeks or so or just to sit back and wait and see if they tell me his concentration has improved. Either way it wont change the outcome in reality but want to be sure that if there is an improvement the school really does see it rather than imagine it iyswim. Chances are ds has already told them himself though I guess.

We call them Brain Capsules but he now claims they aren't working.

Sorry to hear ds was so rough again, essbee. Has he fully recovered from last week's ordeal yet ?

Came in a bit late on this thread but have just started my DS1 on Haliborange Omega 3 (very syrupy and orange tasting). He does moan about taking it but this is only thing he hasn't choked on or thrown up, so might be worth trying if you're having problems. DS has dyspraxia and mild autism and needs all the help he can get just to sit still!

The one DD is on is really horrid. I tell her its not that bad but you wouldn't catch me taking it. Once she has finished this bottle, I might try and change it to see if I can find a nicer tasting one. It says it must be used within 4 weeks. I don't think it will be (I can't be bothered to check the measurements) would you continue using it after 4 weeks? It has to be kept in the fridge once opened.

Can you get it in jelly form like vitamins?
