Is this hay fever?

every night just about for the last month - i wake and the roof of my mmouth feels all strange so i press my tongue against it and kind of suck meanwhile i cant stop sneezing and there is so much snot coming out my nose i can stop sneezing, there go on diagnose me - does hayfever stroke at midnight or is my dusting just not so good?

Strange as in itchy and tingly? I get this but put it down to dustmites, of which there are millions in your bed. Best thing is to wet dust (ie wipe surfaces with a wet cloth) and vacuum very thoroughly - look between the edge of your mattress and bedframe, for example and give it a good vacuum! Plus pull out the bed, do around the bed etc etc.

Wet dust everything - headboard, side tables, bed frame if it's wooden/metal, skirting boards etc. Dry dusting just spreads dust.

Also wash all of your bedding as hot as you can and keep your covers folded back to air your mattress.

If you get relief then that's probably it. So consider allergy covers too and keep it up at least weekly!

bloody hell maybe i will just have an antihistamine Grin just kidding, never considered dut mites - going to get my cleaning head on.

Grin once you've done it once it's easier. And allergy covers meant less cleaning!

i have told dh though a haze of snot that it will make me to ill to deep clean our room so he is going to do it Grin

had a fine night so must have had some effect, i am going to start sneezing in the front room now to get him effective in there next ha ha!

Excellent a ruse to get him cleaning..! I may adopt this method myself...
