Was this a migraine?

I have been diagnosed with a certain kind of migraine but have been a bit dubious as to whether I have them but I think that is me not understanding all the different types.

This morning I was driving to town when I got a pain in my head from no where and then as it went I felt sick. I was then fine after wards other than a watery eye but that could have been because I was upset and nothing to do with the pain in my head.

A lot of doctors are starting to believe that all headaches, except for cluster headaches are actually forms of migraine. I have found this book very helpful in understanding mine (curiously, I have already recommended it a few minutes ago on another post - should get commission
